HOLLYWOOD, CA _ Lisa Loeb, the only artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 before being signed to a record label, will be the headliner at the 2013 DIY Music Festival.

The 2013 DIY Music Festival is being presented in partnership with Hunnypot Unlimited, a multifaceted music publishing, artist representation, marketing and film/ television placement organization specializing in discovering and cultivating fresh music talent (

Joining Loeb will be Pretty Little Demons and Gal Musette, the winners of the DIY Music Festival annual competition for the world’s top independent music acts. They will appear at a private industry showcase for music supervisors and publishers on March 8 in Hollywood.

Loeb launched her career in 1994 with the song,“Stay (I Missed You)”, which was the closing music to the film Reality
. Among her five studio albums is the Grammy-nominated “Firecracker.”

She has since appeared in numerous film, television, voice-over and children’s recording projects, and authored a children’s book.

little-11Pretty Little Demons consists of Lydia Night and Marthy Murphy. The duo are 12 years old and 10 years old, respectively and wrote 5 of the songs on their debut recording, released this month with production by Ethan Allen (BRMC, Donita Sparks, Gram Rabbit).


gal-11Gal Musette is 14-years-old and has been a songwriter for several years. In honor of the Magnetic Fields album “69 Love Songs,” she decided to write and record 70 love songs. She played her first show just six months ago and to date has written 40 songs toward her goal of 70.
