The 2013 DIY Music Festival is now accepting entries for its 11th annual awards dinner and showcase as part of the 2013 DIY Convention in Los Angeles.
The DIY Music Festival is an annual showcase in front of the top music supervisors, publishers and managers in music. Past headliners at this event include Diego Garcia, Lyrics Born, Lindsey Ray and more.
This year, our event partner is Hunnypot Unlimited, a leading independent music publishing/placement company representing the catalogues of Far East Movement, The Robotanists, Das Tapes, Peachcake, Teenage Bottlerocket, hUH (Have U Heard), The Glass, DJ Wool, Clubfeet, Skull Tape, The Mae Shi, ASVA, The Stone Foxes, Lost Weekend, Dr. Hollywood, and These United States.
The annual DIY Music Festival also includes an artist dinner with veteran music professionals, affording an intimate opportunity to meet and get advice from people who work at the top levels in the music business.

ENTRY RULES:
Submissions to the 2013 DIY Music Festival must have been released after Jan. 1, 2011 and have been issued on an independent or self-funded label without multinational corporate backing. The event is open to any genre
Entries will be judged by a panel of music industry professionals using the following criteria:
1) The sophistication and potential of the music to reach a larger audience; and
2) The unique use of DIY guerilla marketing tactics and other resources to bring attention to the project.
You can upload a sample file of your work. It must be in MP3 format and no bigger than 5 Mb.
